Lancashire Aikikai - Instructors
All Instructors are qualified to coach holding a qualification from the national governing body, the British Aikido Board (BAB); hold a black belt indiciating technical knowledge and application. The Coaching Qualification is verifable via the national governing body website where the status of Coaches can be checked. Instructors named on the pages for a club on the Lancashire Aikikai website are effectively endorsed to teach.

Instructors in the Lancashire Aikikai are also First Aid trained and where Instructors take classes unsupervised carry Professional Indenemity Insurance.
Child Protection (Where Clubs accept children and young people to train (ie under 18 years))
Then the Club and/or its members are:-
- bound under the Lancashire Aikikai's and British Aikido Board's Child Protection policies. The status of each Club's position and age people are taken from are clearly stated on the relevant Club page on this site.
- have a induction procedure includes giving information to both students and their parents regarding Child Protection.
- Coaches are CRB checked and formally have an application process within the the Association .
- required to appoint a Club Welfare Officer. Each Club's page names the officer.
