January 1980 - retyped by Kevin Wallace from the original

Lancashire Aikikai Newsletter January 1980

I wish to all members a Happy and Prosperous New Year. We feel that due to the fact that our clubs are spread over a wide area, we have set out four ordinary Sunday courses, this way we are able to co-ordinate and bring all members of Lancashire Aikikai on the mat, hoping that a higher standard of practice will lead to a better understanding of Aikido throughout the organisation.

It is beneficial to practice and be taught by different people from all walks of life, thus achieving a more open minded attitude.

There will be four other courses on Saturday afternoons for teachers.

These courses will be only for Aikidoists from 2nd Kyu and above.

After attending the four courses there will be an examination for teachers certificates.
