LANCASHIRE AIKIKAI NEWSLETTER NO. 1 1985.

To all members of Lancashire Aikikai I wish a happy and prosperous New Year.

The courses for 1985 will be as follows:

At the Chorley Budo Club.

March 9th and 10th
June 22nd and 23rd
September 28th and 29th
November 30th and December 1st.

The Saturday courses are only for 3rd Kyu and above.

Special courses on Zen :? 3rd February and 19th May.

At the Hazel Grove Club.

April 21st
October 20th

These are normal courses of Aikido.

A reminder for everyone, that two ordinary courses are compulsory before a grading.


The major changes made at the General Meeting on the 9th December 1984 are as follows:

1) Course fees will now be £3.50
2) The membership fee is now £12.00 for senior, and £6.00 for junior members.
3) Our courses will start half an hour earlier, i.e. Sunday courses start 10.30 a.m. prompt etc.

Congratulations to everyone on a successful examination, and special thanks to Mr R. Spence for the hard work he has put in as chief instructor, especially for preparing the examination of the teachers' courses.
