New members on free trial
As a new student is looking at joining the Association, we provide temporary membership and insurance for 1 month, for a fee of £4. The fee applies to both under 18 and senior students. { It would help us if you pre-complete your application form before you start. If you are under 18 years you must get your parent or carer to complete this form and also this second one which is required under our Child Protection Policies.} The £4 fee may already be built into the fees the club charges - what you pay is more fully on each of the Club's pages.
New application for full Association membership.
Once an new student decides to join the Association, a new application form must be completed. The individual will pay the balance between the temporary membership and the pro-rated membership fee valid at the time they complete the application form which currently is no more than £18. (i.e. £22 less £4)
Full membership is required once the temporary membership has expired because insurance is only effective when a person is in membership.
The form MUST be completed in full and be accompanied by 1 passport photograph and the relevant fee (pro-rated Association subscription, this will include the previously paid temporary membership.) Clubs normally retain a photo for its records - so 2 photographs in total are needed.
Unemployed; those in full time education are treated at the same rate as under 18 years which equates to 50% of the membership element.. The actual costs are detailed in the pdf file you can view from here.
