Ribby Hall - Aikikai - Training weekend

13th - 15th March 2020

If you have been to the Ribby course before, you will know what a good weekend it is. This will be our 16th year at Ribby. This year Aikido sessions are only on the Saturday & Sunday.

If you have never been, this course offers the opportunity to train intensively for 2 days, or to mix a good, relaxing weekend break with as much training as you want. Train for the whole weekend or select sessions to suit your family break. Please feel free to complement your training with the excellent facilities available on site at Ribby.

You can choose to do as much, or as little as you like. Alternatively, you can treat it as an ordinary course and come for one day.

The weekend is timed to take advantage of cheap weekend breaks at Ribby Hall and their 3 night booking slots rather than a full week. The accommodation is excellent. It is easy to self-cater or there is a good choice of places to eat.

Families can enjoy swimming, pony trekking, archery or a bit of pampering while you train. And at the end of a really good session of aikido it's great to be able to plunge into the swimming pool or relax in the Jacuzzi before meeting up again in the bar

Accommodation on the site tends to get booked up fairly quickly, book soon to avoid disappointment. There are other accommodation options with nearby hotels/Travel Lodges.

For people booking online for accommodation they are automatically adding an extra fee for an upgraded type of booking which includes a cancellation  insurance. THIS CAN BE REMOVED, you simply have to follow the system. Also 10% discount when booking mention the Aikido Group and the Organiser's name.

There is chalet booked which has accommodation for up-to 6 people. If anyone would like to take a place in this chalet, please contact the Course Organiser (Wendy) asap. It will be on a first come first serve basis.
Please advise if you are willing to share a room.

There are also a few individuals and couples who are interested in sharing chalet accommodation. If anyone is interested in sharing then please contact Wendy ASAP and she will try and put you in touch with each other.

Also, if anyone has booked a chalet and has spare rooms please e-mail Wendy (email below) and she will try and put people in touch with each other.
