Procedure
The LA membership procedure follows broadly the procedure for BAB membership as normally the fees are combined. These fees are detailed on this page.
So a club completing its INS2 return for say March will complete the form / return for that month and submit to the LA Membership Secretary by the 10th April of the following month together with any monies due by BACS. The Secretary will process the submissions after this deadline. Failure to meet this deadline may mean your Aikidoka is not cover by the usual benefits of membership.
Nil returns should be made. The Membership Secretary is therefore expecting contact from a club monthly - as a check nothing has gone missing.
The .LA Membership Secretary following the 10th month will process details to the BAB as required by their processes
Clubs should have Members information readily available namely home address, mobile, emergency contact details, health. In case of emergencies.
Use / Explanation of INS2 by Club to send details to the LA to record membership and provide the information needed by the BAB.
"New Gradings this month". No explanation needed but records LA gradings only - as Hombu fees take a different route.
